Clear Aligner Treatment

What are clear aligners?

Clear aligner treatment gradually moves the teeth using thin, transparent aligners that are digitally planned and changed every 1–2 weeks. The aligners are almost unnoticeable to others.

Benefits

• No wires or brackets; they are invisible when you talk and smile.
• They can be removed for eating and brushing, making oral hygiene easy.
• You can see the treatment outcome in 3D before you begin.

Who are they suitable for?

They can be used for mild to moderate crowding, gaps between teeth and some bite problems. In complex cases, fixed orthodontics (braces) may be more appropriate; the decision is made after an examination and digital scan.

For successful results

The aligners must be worn for at least 20–22 hours a day. After treatment, a retainer is used to keep the teeth in place.
